The headlines were fairly simple and each side took their usual position of why someone killed someone. In my humble opinion, it was a tragic accident with no evil intentions by Ms. Guyger. I think that there is a hidden culprit not being recognized. That culprit was the cell phone she was glued to and that held her undivided attention. It's worse than a plague on the people of this world, at least those who possess cell phones. It's a daily occurrence that young, old, educated, non-educated, rich, poor, commuting or just sitting on the toilet people give away their attention and presence totally to the device. Look around. People driving cars, people at stoplights, people in elevators, people walking in busy crosswalks. It's everywhere. I do believe that Ms. Guyger has now killed and will serve time for it due to her cell phone removing her from the physical present.
